much more dangerous to use alcohol for withdrawal done+alcohol does not mix very well, and no it wont numb you to sleep, you end up whole body twitching, very cold and then hot sweats constantly so the withdrawals can override the drunkeness if just one day off done (if long term but then even just after 2 months of MMT).I tried taking no done over a weekend, by sunday I was sick, vomiting, migraines, stiff? body, sharp pain feelings, suicidal lol by monday i was waiting for chemist to open
Methadone saved my life. I went through rehabs for 25 years and could never maintain more then 6 months of clean time (I only did that once). I believe too many people who have not exhausted other remedies are getting the drug too easily. However, in my case, it has been a Godsend for the four years I? have been taking it. It saved my life, my marriage , my job and my ability to once again feel normal!
I read these comments from all you people who struggle with addiction…..they make me want to just start crying and screaming! Especially the guy who said he thinks? death is the only way out. I’ve also been told from the addicts that I know that coming off the meth is worse then coming of the heroin. Please just keep trying, trying for yourself, trying for those who love you. I have learned in the past that love may be enough for anything else, but not this addiction. Don’t give up hope!
M saved my life.? But unlike the main guy in this story, I did not get on it to cushion my herion use. I got on it because I could not stay off opiates using any other conventional method, I had tried for 30 years and M was literally my last hope. With that said, it worked great 4 me. I have been on it for 4 years and I feel totally normal while taking it. I don’t get high and I don’t think about using any illegal drugs. IT WORKED 4 ME!

Couldn’t you drink alcohol and get drunk most of the time so you won’t feel the withdraw? Is acohol a choice and if not, why??

if you did that you would just? get addicted to alcohol and alcohol withdrawl is way worse then methadone or herion
just say no? to methadone….ask for suboxone..
